We flute barrels on CNC machinery with flood coolant and offer a wide variety of fluting patterns. Most of our patterns are highly flexible and we can change lead in lengths, helix rates, and vary cutting depths from breech end to muzzle end, etc. We do unique patterns you won't see in other shops like Gain Twist spiral. Fluting turnaround time is generally 6-7 days after receiving payment.
You can order fluting on barrels purchased from our website by noting in the order comments section the fluting pattern and the finish length [we stop 2" short] and we will add the cost of the fluting to your order then next business day.
If you send us a barrel to flute, please mark Top Dead Center [TDC] 6" in front of shank for 'timed' fluting - Straight, Brux & Diamond.

- Barrel blanks must be 27” OAL minimum - we can flute shorter finished lengths on those 27"+ barrels

Max flute length is 24” - i.e. we can start at 6” and can flute out to 30”. If you have a longer barrel we can start

6-7 Spiral Flutes $150
Our standard spiral flutes. These can be right or left spiral with any realistic helix you want. Spiral flutes have more weight reduction than straight as the flute width is wider and wraps around the barrel for a longer flute length. We also offer straight or spiral lead in.
8-10 Spiral Flutes $165
Can be done on sporter barrels or heavy barrels, we change the cutter diameter based on flute count and barrel circumference.
12 Spiral Flutes $180
Generally for heavy barrels, we use narrower cutter width.
Micro Spiral Flutes $150
We typically cut 9 flutes for the Micro Spiral.
Brux Interrupted Flutes $150
a downright copy of the Brux pattern because of popular demand. Weight reduction is minimal. 8-12 flute patterns available based on barrel circumference.
