Borden Rifles is a family business that's been in the precision rifle industry for over 30 years. Jim has been building his own actions since 2001 and they are commonly found in the winners circle in F class and benchrest competitions. Since inception, he has managed to hold a headspace tolerance of +/-.001" and continues to hold the best thread pitch diameter specs in the industry (smaller than 3B spec). The actions are fully machined in the hardened state, have thread milled action screw holes and scope base screw holes, and utilize .065 firing pins. The BRM and BRM-XD actions have Sako style extractors and utilize the "Borden Bumps" at the rear of the bolt to maximize radial alignment to .0005" or less
